Stan and Virginia Quillen founded Waynesboro Landscape and Garden Center in 1946 to provide the best possible garden products and landscape services. Their sons Stan and Lee assumed ownership in 1985 and successfully ran the Garden Center and Landscape Division respectively.
In September of 2021, Craig and Kim Johnson purchased the Waynesboro Landscape & Garden Center with the mission of empowering teammates to deliver quality landscape & garden products and services as well as an exceptional customer experience. In October of 2021, their son Nathan joined the company and is integrally involved with both the financial and operational aspects of the business.
We’ve established a culture of “Family with Accountability” where our teammates support each other in service to customers and each other. In addition, our decisions are always measured against our deeply rooted set of Values: compassion, dependability, family, humility, and integrity.
Our full-service retail Garden Center offers a wide variety of plants, plant material, trees, shrubs, seeds and supplies. Moreover, we offer an array of indoor plants, gift items, locally sourced food products, tools and accessories. Customers appreciate the warm reception upon entering the property as well as the unparalleled expertise and knowledge of all aspects of plant care and management.
Our Landscape department has grown to six Landscape Designers / Architects and six Landscape Crews who work tirelessly to bring customer landscape dreams into reality. Our Landscape Designers have been recognized as “Best of Virginia” for several years running and believe in partnering with customers throughout the process from project acceptance through design and installation.

FREE DELIVERY
If the location is within 5 miles of our store, delivery is free. Outside of 5 miles, it is $4.50 per mile, one way. For example, if the delivery is 8 miles away, we would charge $36 (8 x $4.50).

Inside you will find plenty of unique gift ideas as well as pots, feeders and other interesting items. All at reasonable prices. The people are helpful and friendly.
